SAR IN PERTH

I moved to Perth.

At the start of 2024, I packed up my life in York and moved to Perth with my husband and our son. We'd never been before.

We didn't know the city, we didn't have favourite places, and we had no idea exactly what life would look like on the other side of the world - just a big decision to start a new chapter.

I'm a corporate girl in my thirties, a coffee lover, slightly obsessed with sunsets and, like most of us, still figuring life out as I go.

 

When I moved to Perth, I quickly realised that starting again somewhere completely new comes with a lot more than just finding your way around. It's figuring out where you fit, how you build a life, how you make friends, how you balance work and family, and how you make a place that once felt so far away start to feel like home.

 

So I decided to create the place I wish I'd had when I arrived.
